South Lake Equestrian Center

News

November 10, 2008

Dear South Lake Equestrian Lesson Program Families,

Thank you for choosing South Lake Farm for your riding lessons. Your patronage is greatly appreciated. We know that it is your kind words and promotion that maintained our quality program for many years.

After a lengthy review of our lesson program; due to drought, rising cost in feed, hay, farrier, and vet services; South Lake Equestrian Center, LLC has made the difficult decision to close the South Lake lesson program. Saturday, December 20, 2008 will be the final day of riding lessons at South Lake Farm. There will be no makeup lessons or refunds after this date.

We are greatly saddened to no longer provide this service to the community. Our mission to provide equestrians of all ages a premier boarding/training facility, staffed with friendly, knowledgeable and attentive people will continue. South Lake Equestrian Center, LLC will focus on consolidating to offer a higher level of quality, care, service, and maintenance to those who wish to board, own/lease, train and show.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us; (704) 948-1825

With Gratitude,

What's happening in November?

Outdoor Ring Lights
The outdoor ring lights have been completely repaired. If you notice one out -please let me know! Also, we have asked the staff to wet and drags rings every morning; if you notice
the rings not drug-please don't be afraid to ask Armando or Pablo.

Stalls
Barn "B" is being bleached and pressured washed; Barn C, D, E will be done soon. "A Clean barn is a happy barn."

Auto Waterers
The automatic waterers are being repaired for the winter; if you notice your horse/pony moved to another stall or waterers taken apart-this is why!

Lost and Found
Any clothing left will be put in the lost and found; at the end of month lost and found WILL be emptied to Goodwill or trash. Wet towels and cloths left will be thrown away-please take
those with you after you have bathed your horse.

Winter Blankets/Sheets
Please make sure you have your blankets/sheets hanging on the front of your stall; if your blankets are not labeled please e-mail me and I will leave the tags on your tack trunk.
