Hugo-Vidal:
Holly
Hugo-Vidal specializes in developing young horses and training juniors
and amateurs. She is an “R” judge on the USEF Hunter/Jumper
circuit and the author of many articles on training and riding featured
in Practical Horseman magazine and of the books “Build Confidence
Over Fences” and “Hints from Holly”. Holly’s
nurturing and patient style brings out the best in the timid or novice
rider, while her wealth of experience and affiliation with the top names
in the industry also make this clinic a great learning opportunity for
the advanced rider and professional trainer.
Holly has
been mentored by and worked with the most legendary names in the business,
including George Morris, Rodney Jenkins and Victor Hugo-Vidal. George
Morris is the current Chef D’Equipe of the USET. Rodney Jenkins,
a 1999 Show Jumping Hall of Fame inductee, is the winningest rider in
show jumping history, winning 68 grand prix during his career.
Holly and
Victor ran the successful Cedar Lodge Farm in Stamford, Connecticut,
which produced numerous AHSA Champions such as General C and GoodBoy
Dee. Victor's great teaching aptitude along with Rodney's unique riding
ability and George Morris' dedication and high standards all contribute
to Holly's method used today.
